Dr. Letrice DeLoach is a Registered Post‑Doctoral Psychological Associate (PSB94029190) and San Diego therapist at Hillcrest Psychological Associates, providing individual and couples counseling for adults and older adults. Recently relocated to San Diego, she brings over fifteen years of clinical experience from diverse settings including private practice, outpatient mental health clinics, and community-based programs, as a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. As a Psychological Associate in San Diego, Dr. DeLoach is currently practicing under supervision while completing the requirements for licensure as a psychologist in California.

Dr. DeLoach earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from California Southern University, a Master’s in Counseling from Clark Atlanta University, and a Bachelor’s from Spelman College. Her approach is integrative and person-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, relational psychodynamic therapy, and Gottman Method couples therapy. She also incorporates mindfulness and creative techniques such as expressive arts and experiential work to support emotional insight and healing.

Rooted in a multicultural and socially conscious framework, Dr. DeLoach provides culturally responsive, inclusive, and affirming care. She especially welcomes Black and African American individuals, LGBTQ+ clients, women, and multicultural couples, creating a safe space for identity exploration and healing.

Dr. DeLoach offers therapy in San Diego for a range of concerns including anxiety and depression treatment, trauma and PTSD treatment, and life transitions. She also supports clients through identity exploration treatment, relationship and communication challenges, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy.

With warmth, authenticity, and clinical expertise, Dr. DeLoach views therapy as a collaborative process that empowers clients to explore both challenges and strengths. She provides in-person therapy in San Diego and is currently accepting new clients., She is an in-network provider with Cigna, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, and Blue Shield/Magellan.
