Dr. Danielle Hanley completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego and has a wide range of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, identity development and life transitions in a variety of mental health settings. She also has experience working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and has a speciality area working with college students. Dr. Hanley completed her internship at University of California, Riverside and completed her post-doctoral residency at University of California, San Diego’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
With an integrative and collaborative therapeutic approach, Dr. Hanley utilizes various evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. She also values a person-centered approach while focusing on specific needs, values, and strengths. Dr. Hanley values a strong therapeutic relationship to help foster a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
When she has some down time, Dr. Hanley enjoys spending time with close friends, hiking, and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Sigmund.
